Dr Deborah Pardo

"Deborah has worked for 5 years in the Conservation Biology team at BAS. She is marked out by her fantastic dedication, as well as by her passion for seabirds, including for declining albatross populations. Her skills in statistical analysis, population modelling and in turning her analyses into high impact publications are extremely strong. Deb works well as an independent scientist, and as part of a team. She is especially interested in communicating her work to the general public, particularly in raising awareness about the plight of albatrosses, as well as about the Antarctic in general. Deb has an aura of positive energy and enthusiasm and will be a strong asset for anyone lucky enough to employ her. I for one will really miss her when she moves on and leaves our team!"
